William “Brad” Maddox is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Clarksville, AR. Brad has worked in the field of Mental Health Counseling for 12+ years within our community. He has a Master’s in Education from Arkansas Tech University and additional post-graduate education from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Brad has completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and utilizes this evidence-based practice to treat youth and adolescents impacted by trauma. He has also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). This evidence-based practice is used to treat emotional distress and symptoms that result from disturbing life experiences, such as traumas. Brad uses multiple theories in his practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He also places great emphasis on the development of healthy relationships. Brad supports healthy family relationships and youth/adolescent behavior with parenting skills and behavior modification. In addition to providing therapy services, Brad is captain with Clarksville Fire and Rescue. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, kayaking, camping, off-roading, fishing, and hiking.
